How to Delete Google Reviews: Your Own vs Someone Else's
How to delete a review you wrote, and how businesses get other people's reviews deleted by Google.
Deleting a Google review you wrote
To delete a Google review you wrote, open Google Maps, tap your profile picture, go to Contributions → Reviews, tap the three dots on the review and choose Delete review. It disappears immediately.
Deleting a review someone else wrote about your business
You can't delete it yourself. Only Google can, and only when it breaks policy. The process is in our guide on how to remove Google reviews.
Can a business pay to delete Google reviews?
No one can pay Google to delete reviews. Legitimate removal services like ours build policy cases with evidence. Avoid anyone promising to delete genuine reviews; that isn't possible and can put your profile at risk.
Can the reviewer be asked to delete it?
Yes, you can politely ask a genuine customer to update their review after you've fixed the problem. Never offer money or incentives.
